Curriculum

Program Format

Our Two-Year MBA program spans 21 months, including a summer internship between the two academic years.

Orientation

Our Two-Year MBA program begins in August, with a two-week Orientation packed with a huge roster of activities that provide a foundation of concepts and skills, as well as a warm introduction to your classmates, faculty and staff.

First Semester

Core courses that provide a foundation in several functional areas of business are the focus of the first semester. The capstone experience at the end of the semester is a Citi-sponsored Integrative Case Competition, which requires applying knowledge to a complex business case and presenting an analysis to a panel of experts. Cash prizes intensify the competition.

Second Semester

During the second semester, you'll undertake an immersion (or create one to suit your own goals) that provides exceptional preparation for your internship. In-depth sessions help to prepare you for job interviews.

Summer Internship

Johnson School MBA students have a strong track record not only of getting internships, but of getting meaty projects and succeeding in them.

Second Year

You'll wrap up any remaining core course requirements, but spend most of this year focusing on courses and projects that provide you with a strong knowledge base and help you hone your leadership, analytical and problem solving skills. Another critical aspect of your second year is your job search and more practice for interviews. Our Career Management Center, alumni, and fellow students are all engaged in helping you to achieve your career goals.
